This Cookie Policy refers to the website www.studiopasottopartners.com (hereinafter, the ‘Website’) and forms an integral part of the Privacy Policy.

  1. DATA CONTROLLER AND CONTACT DETAILS
    The Data Controller is Studio Pasotto & Partners, located at Via Albere 29/A, 37138 – Verona (VR), Italy, social security/VAT no. 03794860233, hereinafter also referred to as the ‘Data Controller’ or simply ‘Controller’.
    For any clarification or further information, or to exercise the rights laid down in this Cookie Policy, you may contact the Data Controller in the following ways:  tel +39 045577977, e-mail: info@studiopasottopartners.com, certified email: robertogainelli@odcecverona.it.

  2. COOKIES USED BY THE WEBSITE; PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING
    Cookies are small text files which websites (referred to as ‘publishers’ or ‘first parties’) visited by the user, or other websites or web servers (referred to as ‘third parties’), send to and store directly (in the case of publishers) or indirectly, through publishers (in the case of third parties), on the user’s computer or mobile device, so that they can be re-used by the same websites the next time the user logs on.
    By using cookies, a website can remember the user’s browsing history and preferences (for example, login information, preferred language, font size, other page-viewing options, and so forth) so that these things do not need to be re-specified each time the user comes back to the website, or visits a different page on the same site. Therefore, in general, cookies are used to enable access, monitor browsing sessions and memorize information concerning the activities of the users who browse a website. They can also contain a code identifying the user, which makes it possible to track that user’s browsing history within the website for statistical or marketing purposes.
    The Controller hereby informs Users that the Website uses the types of cookies listed and described below, divided into categories in accordance with the regulations and instructions issued by the relevant authorities, including the Italian Personal Data Protection Authority (hereinafter, the ‘Authority’).

    2.1 ESSENTIAL COOKIES
    These cookies are essential to the functioning of the website and are used for the sole purpose of completing the transmission of information over an electronic communication network, or when they are strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. Without the use of these cookies, it would be either impossible or less safe to browse the Website or meet certain user requests. These cookies make it possible to implement essential functions such as managing a browsing session, customizing the browsing experience (for example, choosing the language and/or the currency to use), and investigating and preventing fraud.
    Given the purposes for which the essential cookies are used, they can be stored on the user’s device without their express consent; this is pursuant to art. 122 of Legislative Act no. 196/2003 (hereinafter, the ‘Privacy Code’) and art. 5 of Directive 2002/58/CE and subsequent amendments to the same. Disabling these cookies will make it impossible to browse the Website fully and/or to make use of the services, pages, functions or contents provided therein.

    2.2 ANALYTICS OR PERFORMANCE COOKIES
    These are  cookies used to evaluate the performance of a website and to help measure the ‘traffic’ it receives, i.e. the number of visitors (which may be subdivided according to geographical area), the time of day they visited the website and other characteristics. Therefore, their purpose is to produce aggregate data for internal purposes in order to understand how many people visit the website and how they interact with it.
    According to the Authority in its ‘Guidelines for Cookies and Other Tracking Tools’, published on 10 July 2021, analytics cookies can be considered on a par with essential cookies, therefore can be used without the express consent of the user, provided that:
    • they are used by the publisher (known as ‘first-party analytics cookies’) for the simple purpose of compiling statistics on website use, even when referring to more than one domain, website or app, provided that they are owned by the same publisher;
    • they are used by third parties which provide a web measurement service to the publisher, as long as the following conditions are respected:
      • they are used exclusively to produce aggregate statistics which refer only to a single website or mobile app;
      • masking of at least the fourth segment of the IP address is guaranteed;
      • the third parties in question abstain from combining the data obtained from analytics cookies, even when minimized in this way, with other data sets (for example, client files or statistics on the use of other websites), and/or from forwarding them to further third parties, unless the production of statistics by said third parties performed using the minimized data concerns more than one domain, website or app owned by the same publisher or corporate group.

    However, in the event that analytics cookies do not fulfil the above-mentioned requirements, they may be used only when the website has obtained the user’s express consent.
    Without prejudice to the above, the Controller avails of a web traffic analytics service named ‘Matomo’ in order to monitor website functions, perform activities to ensure the security of the website and undertake any necessary measures to improve the services it provides.
    Our use of Matomo has been configured in such a way as to meet all the requirements laid down by the Authority so that the various cookies can be considered on a par with essential cookies. This means that they can be stored on our Users devices without their express consent.
    The data obtained regarding website use will be handled by Matomo in adherence to the policies published on the following webpage: https://matomo.org/gdpr-analytics/.

    2.3 TRACKING OR PROFILING COOKIES
    In general terms, profiling cookies are used to provide information on recurrent patterns in a specific user’s website use to specific subjects which are identified or identifiable, in order to collate various profiles in homogeneous clusters of varying sizes, so that it becomes possible to, among other things, adjust the service and progressively customize it beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service, as well as sending targeted commercial messages (‘targeted’ meaning based on the preferences displayed by the user while surfing the internet). Because of their distinct characteristics, these cookies may be installed on the user’s device only with the user’s express consent, as laid down in art. 122 of the Privacy Code and art. 5 of Directive 2002/58/CE and subsequent amendments.
    The Website does not use profiling cookies.
